Job summary

i3D.net seeks a Data Center Lead for the Hardware and Bare Metal team in Rotterdam. You will manage installations, troubleshoot complex issues, and upgrade infrastructure while guiding a team and defining standards.

Ideal candidates have hands-on datacenter hardware experience, RAID/BMC expertise, and a leadership mindset. This role is hybrid with on-site presence in Rotterdam and occasional on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Problem solving and strong diagnostic skills on hardware and systems.
• Experience with RAID, BMC ports, imaging servers and deployment.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, install, configure and troubleshoot datacenter hardware.
• Provide team guidance and support in daily tasks and development.
• Collaborate with peers and leaders on deployment planning and standards.
• Oversee rack designs, cooling, power distribution and cable management.
• Document procedures and improve operational processes.
