Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Lead Financial Controller – Group Reporting & Controllership to oversee group consolidation and the financial close process across entities worldwide. You will partner with senior finance leaders to ensure accurate, timely reporting and strong financial controls.

You will apply IFRS and GAAP, coordinate audits, and drive improvements in governance and automation while growing into broader leadership responsibilities in a dynamic international setting.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Financial Control, Group Reporting, Consolidation and Accounting & Reporting.
• Proven IFRS knowledge and month-/quarter-/year-end reporting expertise.
• Experience in multinational reporting environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate group consolidation and financial close activities across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Coordinate reporting activities to meet deadlines through planning, alignment and delegation.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of reporting outputs.
• Review consolidation adjustments, intercompany balances, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Own month-, quarter-, and year-end reporting cycles and key deliverables.
• Support consolidated financial statements and management reporting packages.
• Apply IFRS and APMM GAAP in FX, leases, provisions, impairments, and business combinations.
• Coordinate external audits, manage requests, and build stakeholder relationships.
• Drive governance, automation, standardisation and continuous improvement of reporting.
