Job summary

Futures Works in Amsterdam is seeking a Group Controller to lead reporting, planning and financial control across the group and its subsidiaries. You will report to the Group CFO and drive compliance with US GAAP, SOX, taxation, and regulatory frameworks.

The role requires 7+ years of financial leadership in multinational settings, strong English communication, and proficiency with Cognos and Excel. You will mentor finance teams, oversee audits, and support strategic growth through accurate

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting or Finance; MBA/CPA highly desirable.
• 7+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles.
• Experience leading financial teams and employees.
• Strong command of English, written and verbal.
• Knowledge of Cognos, Excel and other financial software.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and SOX.
• Understanding of payroll, reporting, tax and M&A.
• Ability to operate across different GAAP environments.

Responsibilities

• All financial and fiscal management across the group.
• Oversee financial reporting for parent and subsidiaries.
• Manage group cash and budgeting cycle.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure clean opinions.
• Drive group financial agenda and strategic planning.
• Ensure compliance with policies and internal controls.
• Provide consultative financial support to planning initiatives.
