Job summary

Medtronic plc is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst for Service & Repair Finance Process Improvement. The role focuses on standardising accounting processes, SAP-driven improvements, and cross-functional collaboration across Finance, IT and Operations.

You will drive data quality, controls, and month-end close efficiency in a global context. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in finance processes, ERP systems (SAP), and a track record of leading global process improvement

Qualifications

8–10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, controllership, finance transformation or process improvement.
Strong knowledge of accounting processes within an ERP environment, preferably SAP.
Solid understanding of service operations, repair, aftermarket or field service business models.
Experience leading global process harmonisation, finance transformation or automation initiatives.
Excellent Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.

Responsibilities

Act as a global subject matter expert for Service & Repair accounting processes.
Analyse end-to-end finance processes and SAP transaction flows to identify gaps and improvements.
Translate requirements into clear process designs, requirements, testing scenarios and control documentation.
Lead or support SAP improvements including master data, postings, account determination and reporting.
Drive harmonisation of processes across regions and implement sustainable solutions.
