Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst to lead Service & Repair finance process improvement on a global scale. You will act as a finance SME, connecting accounting requirements with SAP capabilities to simplify processes and strengthen controls.

You will drive harmonisation, automation, and continuous improvement across Finance, IT, Operations, and Global Process Owners while improving month-end close and data quality through robust governance and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, controllership or process improvement.
• Strong knowledge of accounting processes within an ERP environment (preferably SAP).
• Experience leading global process harmonisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across regions in a global matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a global subject matter expert for Service & Repair accounting processes.
• Analyze end-to-end finance processes and SAP transaction flows to identify gaps and improve data quality.
• Translate requirements into design documents, testing scenarios, and control documentation.
• Lead or support SAP improvements including master data, postings, account determination, and interfaces.
• Drive harmonisation of accounting processes across regions and establish governance.
