Job summary

Vopak, headquartered in Rotterdam, is seeking a Business Controller for Finance Global Functions & IT. You will guide FP&A for Global IT and HR, manage IT TCO and chargebacks, and ensure financial harmonization across merged teams and units.

You will report to the Director Finance Global Functions & IT and work in a hybrid setup, balancing financial controls with strategic IT investments to support global operations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics with 10 years of controlling experience.
• Strong FP&A expertise and IT financial management experience.
• Proficient with IT/ERP platforms, financial databases, and BI tooling.
• Ability to build automated financial dashboards and data flows.
• English fluency and strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Reporting: Support budgeting, forecasting, and MEC cycles for the BU General Services portfolio (IT, Global Functions, BESS).
• IT TCO & Chargeback Management: Develop TCO models and cost allocations across global entities.
• Systems & Reporting Automation: Build automated dashboards and data overviews from diverse systems.
• Integration & Organizational Alignment: Support integration and harmonization of merged team structures and cost frameworks.
• Director Support & Special Projects: Assist on ad-hoc business cases, statutory topics, and IT financial controls.
