Job summary

Vopak is seeking a Business Controller – Finance Global Functions & IT in Rotterdam. You will steer budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closes for Global IT and HR, Finance, and BESS activities, while improving cost transparency and automation across global entities.

You will partner with the Director and senior stakeholders, drive TCO models, data integration, and robust reporting, and help align merged structures and processes. Fluency in English and a proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics, with 10 years of relevant controlling experience.
• Experience applying FP&A methods and IT financial management.
• Fluent English with strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and MEC cycles for Global Functions IT/HR/Finance and related activities.
• Drive IT TCO modeling and cost allocations/chargebacks across global entities.
• Develop automated reporting dashboards and data flows from multiple ERP/BI sources.
• Support integration and harmonization of merged team structures and cost frameworks.
• Assist the Director on ad-hoc business cases, statutory topics, and BESS controls.
