Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking an International Field Service Technician for food processing machinery. You will install, service and troubleshoot specialist equipment across Europe and beyond, with extensive international travel and direct customer contact.

We value hands-on engineers with 2+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical or mechatronic disciplines, strong English, and a willingness to work remotely from sites across Europe.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in service, maintenance, installation or commissioning.
• Experience in the food-processing or food & beverage industry is advantageous.
• Strong English communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Installing and commissioning machinery at customer sites.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults.
• Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Repairing and replacing mechanical and electrical components.
• Troubleshooting machinery and production equipment.
• Supporting customers with technical issues.
• Working with internal teams to resolve complex problems.
• Ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Providing technical guidance and support to customers.
