Job summary

Ishida Europe Limited seeks a Service Engineer - Key Accounts to support major international customers across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. You will install, commission and service Ishida equipment, train customer teams, and optimise performance of production lines.

Ideal candidates are engineers with food-manufacturing experience, strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, and willingness to travel extensively within the EMEA region. German basics are beneficial for collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing, engineering or a related technical industry.
• Strong electrical and mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Confident communicator who can explain technical information clearly.
• Basic working knowledge of German.
• Willingness to travel extensively within EMEA.
• Based in Germany or the Netherlands near Düsseldorf (within ~350 km).
• Previous field service engineering experience and repairing industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission Ishida equipment across EMEA.
• Diagnose faults, perform repairs and conduct preventative maintenance.
• Build trusted relationships with key account customers as their technical expert.
• Deliver technical training and share expertise with customer teams.
• Support installation projects and help optimize equipment performance.
• Collaborate with local service teams, engineers, customer service and account managers.
• Support new product introductions and emerging technologies.
• Travel extensively throughout EMEA to support customer sites.
• Represent Ishida at customer events and industry exhibitions as needed.
