Resolvo Engineering B.V. is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize industrial process and packaging machinery across the Randstad and surrounding regions in the Netherlands.

You will work independently with a company van and be the technical point of contact for customers, supporting continuous production in food-related facilities.

Formación

• MBO level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
• Several years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery and automated production equipment.
• Good understanding of PLC controls, industrial electronics, and automation.
• Ability to independently analyse complex technical faults and implement solutions.
• Good communication skills in Dutch or English, with willingness to learn Dutch if needed.
• Valid Category B driving licence and willingness to travel.

For an internationally operating company active in the food production industry, we are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to strengthen its technical service team in the Netherlands.

The company specializes in advanced industrial process and packaging machinery used in modern food production facilities. Its equipment consists of complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems designed to ensure efficient, reliable, and continuous production processes.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will work with a wide variety of industrial machines and production installations. You will have plenty of independence, direct customer contact, and the opportunity to further develop your technical expertise.

Your role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing industrial process and packaging machinery at customer locations throughout the Randstad and surrounding regions.

You will work independently, manage your own service activities, and act as the technical point of contact for customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing and commissioning new industrial machinery and production lines.

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on process and packaging equipment.

• Diagnosing and independently resolving complex mechanical and electrical breakdowns.

• Troubleshooting PLC-controlled systems, electronics, sensors, and automation equipment.

• Working with motors, drives, mechanical components, and industrial control systems.

You will have considerable freedom and responsibility in your daily work. Your main objective is to ensure that customers' production equipment operates efficiently and reliably.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced technician who combines strong technical knowledge with a practical and customer-oriented approach.

• An MBO level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.

• Several years of experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Technician, Maintenance Technician, or in a similar technical position.

• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering.

• Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery and automated production equipment.

• Good understanding of PLC controls, industrial electronics, and automation.

• The ability to independently analyse complex technical faults and implement solutions.

• Good communication skills in Dutch or English, with a willingness to learn Dutch if English is your primary language.

• A valid Category B driving licence.

• A flexible attitude and willingness to travel to customer locations.

• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Experience within the food production industry is an advantage, but not essential. Experience with complex industrial process or packaging machinery is more important.

You will have a high degree of independence in planning and executing your work, while remaining connected to an international technical support network.
