Job summary

Focus Engineering B.V. in the Netherlands seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, commission and service high‑tech production lines at customer sites worldwide.

You adapt to on‑site conditions, troubleshoot PLC‑driven systems and collaborate closely with customers and the project team. Travel is a core part of the role (50–70%), you’ll bring 3+ years in field service, strong PLC knowledge (Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, CODESYS, B&R) and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in field service engineering or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, CODESYS, B&R).
• Solid experience with electrical systems in industrial automation.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning complex electrical and PLC-controlled machinery at customer sites worldwide.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues; performing on-site modifications.
• Acting as the technical link between the project team, local technicians and the customer.
• Delivering high-quality service, including maintenance, on-site support and remote troubleshooting.
• Preparing projects, creating technical documentation and providing practical customer training.
