Job summary

HOUDIJK HOLLAND B.V is seeking a Field Service Engineer to ensure the proper functioning of installations at customer sites. You will be responsible for service and maintenance tasks, provide training, and support operations.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, has experience with electrical systems and dynamic drives, and is willing to travel abroad. The position offers a competitive salary, generous vacation days, and excellent working conditions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering at least at MBO level, or equivalent through work experience.
• Experience with dynamic drive systems and modern PLC control technologies.
• Willingness to travel abroad regularly for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installations work properly and perform service and maintenance tasks.
• Communicate with customers about machine faults or upgrades.
• Collect test data, monitor testing progress, and maintain documentation.
• Provide training to customer staff, such as operators and technicians.
• Assist in on-site visits or remote troubleshooting as required.
