Job summary

Marel is looking for a Field Service Engineer Automation to install and maintain our machines at customer sites worldwide. You will work hands-on with electrical cabinets, software, and PLCs to ensure smooth machine start-up and reliable operation.

Travel is a core part of the role, with international assignments ~50–60%. You will lead local teams on larger installations, train customers, report progress to managers, and continuously develop your technical and service skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent in mechatronics/electrical/automation with related experience.
• Experience with electrical cabinet work, software installation, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Fluent English and EU travel rights required.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain Marel machines at customers.
• Lead local teams on larger installations.
• Travel internationally and report progress to customers.
• Provide training to customers and share results with colleagues.
