Job summary

Marel is seeking a Field Service Engineer Control Systems to service and optimize our machines at customer sites across Europe. You will also participate in installation projects, combining mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics and controls for hands-on technical work and customer interaction.

You will troubleshoot complex electrical and controls issues on-site, lead local teams on larger installations, report progress to customers, and travel internationally (approximately 50–60%).

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering with related experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanics, and electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics and controls.
• Willingness to travel internationally (~50–60%).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex electrical and controls issues on-site.
• Lead and coordinate installation projects for customers.
• Communicate progress to customers and document on-site status.
• Work with tension control, vacuum systems and rebuilt control panels.
