Job summary

Marel in Amsterdam is recruiting a Field Service Engineer in North Europe to service and optimize Secondary Fresh Equipment. This role blends hands-on technical work with customer interactions. Responsibilities include conducting maintenance visits, troubleshooting complex machinery, and training operators.

You will travel approximately 50-60% of the time, ensuring a balance between work and personal life. A degree in Mechatronics or a related field is required, as is a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Solid knowledge of mechanics with affinity for electrical systems.
• Experience in service/maintenance of complex machinery is an advantage.
• Good command of English, German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute service projects of Secondary Fresh portfolio.
• Conduct service and maintenance visits to ensure uptime.
• Troubleshoot complex issues on-site.
• Lead local employees in installation projects.
• Train operators and maintenance staff.
