We are looking for an ambitious Financial Analytics Intern to join the team for a period of 6 months and support across various financial reporting, analytics, and strategy projects, including but not limited to Support design and development of new financial dashboards and reports that meet business requirements and visualization best practices. Assist in migration of existing dashboards to new BI platforms or updated data models, ensuring feature parity and improved usability. Perform data validation and reconciliation between source systems and dashboards to ensure accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with BI developers and data engineers to translate business requirements into implementation tasks. Execute functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to verify dashboard features and user workflows. Provide end-user support and training materials for stakeholders adopting new or migrated dashboards. Identify data quality issues and escalation points; work with engineering teams to resolve root causes. You are at least in the final year of your undergraduate studies in finance, economics, data analytics, or another related field. Preferred if pursuing a master's degree in finance or related field currently. You are proficient in the MS Office Suite (especially in Excel and PowerPoint). A working knowledge of Power BI and Tableau on top is preferred. You can communicate in English fluently (at least on a C1 level). You are collaborative, hungry to learn, and willing to take initiative. You bring a positive, friendly, and curious mindset to work. You are able to partner with different stakeholders across different teams to drive results. You bring a constant innovation mindset to the table and are always thinking about how to do things better and more efficiently to drive performance. You can run projects independently with minimal supervision.
Job requirements You are enrolled at a European university for the entire duration of the internship. You are at the end of your Bachelor’s degree, or in your Master’s degree You have good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken. NOTE EU working rights are required (Either you have an EU Citizenship, or you are studying in the Netherlands).
