Job summary

FiveNines Group is an independent international infrastructure business specialising in data centres and critical infrastructure across Europe and International. We seek an experienced Design Manager, resident in the Netherlands, for a project in Morocco, coordinating design work throughout the construction process.

You will lead design meetings, liaise with teams, and ensure client requirements are met while understanding technical, regulatory, and commercial issues.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
• HNC/HND/degree in Construction Management or Architecture
• BSc in Design and Construction Management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Arabic preferred
• Good self-motivation and the ability to motivate others
• Experience in Temporary work designs
• Experience in external public realm design (Hard/Soft landscaping)

Responsibilities

• Leading design project meetings and overseeing external design teams
• Liaising with other teams and departments
• Working with clients to ensure that their requirements are fulfilled, and expectations met
• Requires a thorough understanding of technical, regulatory and commercial issues as well as design considerations
• Input to design at tender through to project completion
• Drive forward value engineering and innovation into the project designs
