Job summary

Danone seeks a Global Data Excellence Manager based in Amsterdam to drive governance and data products for digital marketing data across the globe. You will translate business needs into scalable data solutions and foster a strong data culture.

You'll collaborate with marketing, data, digital and technology teams, manage data quality and privacy, and empower analysts and business users with reliable data to accelerate growth.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in marketing, digital, media, analytics, or data management roles within global organizations.
• Experience with data governance, data quality management, or data stewardship.
• Strong knowledge of marketing data ecosystems including digital media, eCommerce, CRM, search, social, campaign performance, and web analytics.
• Hands-on experience with data and analytics tools, including SQL and/or Python.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and stakeholders independently.
• Experience working with or managing external partners such as media agencies, technology vendors, or consulting firms.
• Understanding of emerging digital trends, such as generative search, retail search, and evolving marketing measurement approaches.
• Experience developing frameworks, training programs, and scalable ways of working.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across business and technical teams.
• Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive Data Excellence by gathering requirements and translating them into scalable data solutions.
• Lead Data Governance across the Marketing Data Domain and oversee data assets lifecycle.
• Enable Data-Driven Decision Making by powering analytics products with accurate data.
• Build Capability and Community through playbooks, trainings, and global knowledge sharing.
