This role is based inDanone Place Amsterdam, the global headquarters of our Specialized Nutrition business.
As Global Data Excellence Manager, you will support the Marketing Data Domain by ensuring the quality, governance, accessibility, and adoption ofdigital marketing data products, including areas such as D2C, CRM, website, search, campaign, platform, and HCP-related data. You will help translate business needs into scalable data solutions while fostering a strong data culture across Danone.
Ultimately, yourwork will enable analysts and business teams worldwide to spend less time preparing data and more time generating insights that drive growth.
Partner with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
Support the development of trusted, reusable marketing data products that serve global and local teams.
Ensure data products meet business needs while balancing quality, scalability, and governance requirements.
Manage day-to-day governance activities across the Marketing Data Domain.
Oversee the lifecycle of key data assets andmaintainhigh-quality business metadata.
Define and monitor data quality standards, coordinate issue resolution, and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliant handling and classification of data in line with privacy regulations and enterprise policies.
Support data access management and governance processes.
Ensure marketing analytics products and tools are powered byaccurateand reliable data.
Improve the quality and consistency of marketing, digital, media, CRM, and eCommerce data.
Help teams across markets unlock greater value from data and analytics.
Foster adoption of data governance best practices across the organization.
Develop playbooks, training materials, and enablement programs.
Build and nurture a global community of analysts and data users, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Act as an ambassador for data excellence across Danone.
We'relooking for someone who combines strong dataexpertisewith stakeholder management and a passion for enabling business impact.
You bring:
8-12 years of experience inmarketing, digital, media, analytics, or datamanagement roleswithin global organizations.
Experience with data governance, data quality management, or data stewardship.
Strong knowledge ofmarketing data ecosystems, including digital media, eCommerce, CRM, search, social, campaign performance, and web analytics.
Hands-on experience working with data and analytics tools, includingSQL and/or Python.
Proven ability to manage complex projects and stakeholders independently.
Experienceworking with or managing external partnerssuch as media agencies, technology vendors, or consulting firms.
Understanding ofemerging digital trends, including generative search, retail search, and evolving marketing measurement approaches.
Experience developing frameworks, training programs, and scalable ways of working.
Excellent communication skillsand the ability toinfluence stakeholdersacross business and technical teams.
A collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
