Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Customs Process Administrator to coordinate the full range of customs services, from order acceptance to the release of goods and clearance.

You will receive extensive internal and external training, work in a diverse team, and help ensure timely and accurate import/export declarations, data reporting, and compliance. Strong attention to detail and fluent English are essential; Dutch is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of local customs authorities is an asset.
• Experience handling food, produce, or veterinary goods from a customs perspective is a plus.
• Familiarity with customs software is beneficial.
• Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and organize the full range of customs services from order acceptance to clearance.
• Perform import/export declarations and transit movements with accuracy and timeliness.
• Deliver financial activities related to customs brokerage and reporting to management.
• Maintain data reports for management, customers, and compliance teams.
• Ensure compliance with local customs authorities’ requirements and build strong customer relationships.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and participate in customs-related projects.
• Provide training to cover all accounts within the team.
• Foster team spirit and staff engagement.
