Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Customs Process Administrator to coordinate and organize the full range of customs services, from order acceptance to goods release and clearance. The role includes training and ongoing support to ensure compliance and timely processing.

You will work with a diverse team to ensure accurate declarations, strong customer interactions, and proactive project involvement, supporting Maersk's global logistics network.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant customs experience/certification.
• Local customs authorities’ knowledge is an asset.
• Experience handling fruit, vegetable, and veterinary goods from a customs perspective is a plus.
• Customs software experience is a plus.
• Outlook and basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Customer-facing and interaction skills with high-level of customer orientation.
• Team engagement and support.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Fluent English is required; Dutch or other European languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and organize the full range of customs services from order acceptance to release of goods and clearance.
• Complete Import & Export declarations and Transit Movements accurately and on time.
• Manage financial activities related to Customs House Brokerage.
• Collate and present data reports to Management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local customs requirements and regulations.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Lead or participate in Customs related projects.
• Ensure training to cover all accounts in the team.
