Job summary

SIRE LIFE SCIENCES in Meppel is seeking a Customer Operations Specialist to temporarily cover an Optimus program. You will own the full Order-to-Cash process for export customers in the Americas & Pacific region, with focus on the Caribbean, and collaborate with planning, logistics and commercial stakeholders to ensure a high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

Proven experience in Customer Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain or Logistics (no entry-level profiles).
Dutch and English required.
Spanish is a strong advantage (regional/customer portfolio).
Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system (preferred).

Responsibilities

Manage the full Order-to-Cash flow for export customers (from order intake to delivery and invoicing follow-up where applicable).
Act as the first point of contact for customers on order, delivery and service-related topics.
Coordinate closely with transport planning, factories, logistics and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
Monitor order progress and proactively follow up on risks, delays or exceptions.
Handle customer questions, complaints, issue management and follow-through in a solution-oriented way.
Maintain customer master data and customer-specific logistics requirements in the ERP system (SAP preferred).
Support reporting activities such as stock and sales updates where required.
Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting smarter ways of working and supporting operational initiatives.
Participate in project-based assignments linked to process optimisation and team priorities.
