Job summary

Bunge in Rotterdam is seeking an Operations Officer (Cotton) to ensure accurate execution of trade flows for containerized raw cotton. You will manage contract reading, documentation, and payments while maintaining inventory and administration for international trades.

You will join the Operations Cotton team and report to the Team Lead; the role requires hands-on coordination with vessel agents, brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant shipments and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience in Operations/Logistics/Trade Execution in cotton or agri commodities
• Strong English communication (written and spoken)
• Proficient with spreadsheets
• Accurate, proactive, and detail-oriented

Responsibilities

• Coordinate container movements by ship/train/truck and ensure proper documentation
• Check purchase and sales contracts and contractual obligations
• Input and manage logistics data and reservations; book invoices
• Communicate with vessel agents and internal departments to ensure timely operations
• Ensure timely presentation of documents (bills of lading, origin certificates) and payments
