Job summary

Bunge is seeking an Operations Officer in Rotterdam to own the execution of global commodity trade flows, ensuring seamless logistics and precise documentation from contract to payment.

You will coordinate between internal teams and global stakeholders, manage contracts, and support timely cargo delivery. The role requires flexibility to work outside normal hours and weekends in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or SCM
• 2-5 years of experience in an operations role within an international business environment
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy standards
• Ability to prioritize and perform under pressure
• Excellent communication across stakeholders and cultures
• Proactive, pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• French is a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Contract execution and thorough checking of commodity contracts
• Preparation and sending loading/documents per contract terms and regulations
• Stock management internal and external storages
• Monthly reporting of external stock levels
• Deal with customer complaints/quality and performance issues
• Appoint cargo superintendents and fumigators
• Handling letters of credit
• Contact vessel agents and verify contracts and charter terms
• Assure correct processing of accruals and invoices
• Timely presentation of documentation (bill of lading, origin certificates)
• Entering logistical information into the system
