Job summary

Serrala in Amstelveen is seeking a fully qualified lawyer to own Serrala’s compliance framework and provide legal advisory across the business.

You will review and negotiate customer contracts, support tenders, lead ESG initiatives, and oversee audits and certifications (ISO, SOC 2) in a global, fast‑paced environment.

You’ll collaborate with management, ensure regulatory alignment across Dutch, German and EU rules, and train staff on compliance topics.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with Law degree.
• Experience in compliance and commercial legal matters.
• Experience in international environment.
• Broad understanding of Dutch, German, and EU regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for a global provider of cash and payment solutions.
• Advise management and business stakeholders on compliance and general legal matters.
• Review and negotiate customer contracts, particularly regarding regulatory and commercial obligations.
• Support customer tenders (RFPs/RFQs) and maintain compliance-related documentation.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks, and further develop policies and processes.
• Deliver training and raise awareness on compliance topics across the organisation.
• Support audits, compliance reviews, and certifications (ISO, SOC 2).
• Lead ESG-related activities, including reporting, sustainability initiatives, and communication with authorities and external stakeholders.
