Job summary

Gisou seeks a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join its lean, international team. You’ll own broad responsibility from retailer partnerships to expansion, protecting the brand as the business grows.

You will partner with Retail, Marketing, Product and Supply Chain, drafting and negotiating contracts, advising on privacy and consumer law, and helping scale legal processes as Gisou grows globally.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Law.
• Native Dutch speaker with excellent written and spoken English.
• Approximately 5-7 years of relevant legal experience gained in a leading law firm and/or in-house environment.
• Prior in-house experience within a commercial, international organisation is strongly preferred.
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements.
• Act as a trusted legal business partner to teams across Retail & Commercial, Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain, People, Finance and Digital.
• Support strategic growth initiatives and international expansion projects.
• Advise on consumer law, marketing and promotional activities.
