Job summary

HelloFresh in Amsterdam is seeking a Procurement Teamlead to own the strategy, performance and people development for your category cluster. You will lead Category Managers, shape supplier relationships, and drive commercial outcomes while serving as the senior escalation point for procurement challenges.

You will connect day-to-day procurement with broader supply chain strategy, build capability, processes and relationships that outlast the current planning cycle, and coach your team to deliver

Qualifications

• 6+ years in strategic procurement, supply chain, or a closely related commercial discipline.
• Demonstrated track record of building supplier relationships at a strategic level.
• Experience setting and executing category strategy across a portfolio.
• Proven ability to lead and develop others, whether as a formal team lead or via mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the multi-year category strategy for your cluster and present to Director-level stakeholders.
• Translate market intelligence into actionable procurement decisions and communicate them clearly.
• Lead cross-category standardisation and process improvement initiatives.
• Own the NID governance pipeline and coordinate cross-functional activities.
• Build and steward strategic supplier relationships and oversee tender processes end-to-end.
• Take full commercial accountability for cost performance, savings targets, and COGS variance.
• Drive data-first category reviews and supplier performance assessments.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Category Managers.
