Job summary

Roll Group is seeking a Cargo Superintendent to oversee cargo operations for projects globally. You will plan loading, discharging, ballast, and sea-fastening, coordinating all activities on site to ensure safe, efficient vessel operations.

The role requires maritime education and at least 2 years in a similar position, with willingness to travel up to 100–120 days per year and work in a hybrid environment. Roll Group offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant experience in cargo operations or marine logistics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic GHS software.
• Strong leadership and ability to work safely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cargo operations plans including feasibility checks (tide, quay, bollards, fenders etc.).
• Coordinate loading, discharging, and sea-fastening plans.
• Manage on-site activities and organize safety meetings.
• Provide project documents, plans and drawings to involved parties.
• Issue CSI reports and share lessons learned with management.
• Evaluate operational feasibility for bids and tenders, including cost elements.
