Timber construction is growing quickly and developers, contractors and fabricators need digital workflows that take a project from the model to production without errors. For many of them, the question is no longer whether to digitalize, but which solution fits the way they work.
As Global Business Development Lead - Timber Solutions, you will grow Construsoft's business in this market. You create demand, turn leads into qualified sales pipeline and support our regional sales teams in converting opportunities into orders. You start in EMEA and help prepare Timber Solutions for global scaling.
Growth does not come from sales alone. Ecosystem development is the second priority and a means to achieve this growth; from machine manufacturers and suppliers to the timber industry to technology partners, industry associations and resellers. Together with them, you strengthen both the value proposition and our reach in the market.
As Business Development Lead, you play a key role in building Construsoft's position in the timber construction market.
You report to the CRO and work closely with regional sales teams, Area Directors, Product Management and the Global Marketing Director. You develop the go-to-market strategy for Timber Solutions and make sure it is carried out across the region, from the first conversation with a prospect through to closing opportunities.
In timber construction, fabricators work with machine manufacturers, suppliers of connectors and fasteners, engineering firms and software partners, and industry associations play an important role in how the market develops. Part of your role is to understand this landscape and use it to create growth.
You will build partnerships that lead to joint sales plays, shared events and partner-sourced opportunities. You advise the Global Leadership Team and Area Directors on timber-market growth and use their regional networks to open doors and accelerate opportunities.
Because you work across several countries, you also make sure that what works in one market can be repeated in another. That means sharing knowledge, enabling local sales (support) teams and building an approach that is ready to scale beyond EMEA.
We are One Construsoft, and we value the people who work with us. Across the organization, we aim to create an open, welcoming and pleasant working environment.
You have strong commercial drive and you are at your best when there is a market to win. You think strategically, but you are just as comfortable picking up the phone, opening a new partnership or sitting down with a sales team to move a deal forward.
You build networks easily, you negotiate with confidence, and you bring structure to your pipeline and your plans. You enjoy working with colleagues and partners in different countries and cultures.
You will take ownership of a strategic growth market for Construsoft. You get the freedom to shape the go-to-market approach, choose the right partners and decide where to focus, with direct access to the CRO and the Global Leadership Team.
Compensation is aligned with local market conditions and experience. In addition to the base salary, an attractive bonus structure applies.
Candidates based in the Netherlands are preferred; candidates based elsewhere in Europe are also encouraged to apply.

Our recruiter, Guido Weltevreden, will review your CV within three business days. If your experience and interests seem like a good match, he'll get in touch to arrange an introductory conversation. It's a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to ask questions about the role and Construsoft.
The next steps are a conversation with the hiring managers and a final meeting with our timber specialists. An assessment or business case may also be part of the process.
