Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Global Air Logistics Vertical Implementation Manager to lead complex international customer implementations from initiation to stabilization. You will be part of the vertical PMO, coordinating with Sales and the Air Logistics Business Unit to achieve strategic goals and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires at least 5 years of experience managing large programs, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of Air Logistics operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration or a related field.
At least 5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager and/or Program Manager in global projects.
Strong understanding of Air Logistics operations and processes.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
PM certification such as PMP, PMI or Prince2 is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead project definition, scope, and objectives by collaborating with stakeholders.
Create detailed plans, including timelines, resource management, and risk management.
Guide teams, ensuring alignment with goals; monitor progress and address deviations.
Allocate and secure resources, collaborating with functional managers for expertise and success.
Build strong relationships, communicate status transparently, and highlight opportunities.
Ensure deliverables meet ISO 21205 standards and drive improvements.
Collaborate with Sales and the Air Logistics Business Unit to develop vertical goals.
Identify and mitigate risks, manage scope changes, and support integration.
Mentor and supervise junior managers on vertical requirements.
