Job summary

Baktec B.V. is a growing family business specializing in water mixing and measuring devices and water chillers. We seek an International Account Manager to expand our global client base and drive sales growth from our Leiden office.

You will build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, travel 5–10 times per year, and work closely with the Managing Director and technical teams to translate market insights into actionable plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or HBO-level education is required.
• At least five years in a commercial role within an international organization is required.
• Strong Dutch and English skills; knowledge of German/Spanish/French is a plus.
• Ambitious, entrepreneurial, and able to build long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop new potential markets internationally.
• Establish and maintain international client relationships.
• Monitor market trends and new sales channels.
• Generate and follow up on leads for new business.
• Analyze competition and sales data to inform a sales plan.
• Inform clients about new developments and offerings.
• Attend international trade shows.
• Collaborate with MD, Back Office Sales, and Technical Manager.
