Job summary

iPsomics is seeking a Business Developer to identify opportunities, build relationships with academic, biotech and healthcare organizations, and convert scientific interest into new projects. You will work closely with the project manager and science team to translate opportunities into collaborations.

The role focuses on genomics services, with flexibility for 24–32 hours per week and a starting salary linked to experience.

Qualifications

• Requires BSc/MSc in Life Sciences or related field.
• BD/sales or account management experience in life sciences.
• Strong commercial and entrepreneurial mindset with pipeline-building track record.
• Affinity with genomics, sequencing technologies, stem cell research or related fields.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with scientific colleagues.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities and develop new business opportunities across genomics, transcriptomics, stem cells and Organ-on-Chip models.
• Build and maintain relationships with academic, biotech and healthcare organizations.
• Generate and qualify leads through networking, conferences and outreach.
• Manage and develop the commercial pipeline and lead negotiations.
• Coordinate proposal development with scientific colleagues and support project initiation.
• Represent iPsomics at conferences and networking events.
• Ensure excellent customer experience throughout the client journey.
