Job summary

Xccelerated (part of the Xebia Group) is seeking a Medior Data Engineer in Noord Brabant for a hybrid role, building a modern data platform on Google Cloud and growing through extensive training.

You will design and maintain scalable data pipelines on GCP, enable analytics and machine learning use cases, and collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to align architecture. Four days on-site with one training day per week, with potential direct client placement after one year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or related field.
• 1–4 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Skilled in Python and familiar with at least one public cloud (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Experience with modern data tooling like Databricks, Spark, or Airflow.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure on GCP.
• Develop components of the data platform that enable analytics and machine learning use cases.
• Ensure robust integration between systems and data models.
• Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to align architecture and implementation.
