Job summary

Xccelerated, part of the Xebia Group, is seeking Medior Cloud Engineers who will relocate to the Netherlands and build secure, scalable GCP infrastructure. You will work on client projects, deepen cloud and infrastructure expertise, and grow quickly in an international, English-speaking environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on infrastructure, automation, and software engineering with Python or Go, collaborating with engineering teams and participating in structured training and growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cloud, IT, or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or DevOps.
• Experience in GCP (or AWS) cloud services.
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Experience designing and building scalable cloud infrastructure and landing zones.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud-native development practices.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong software engineering skills (Python or Go).
• Understanding of cloud security, networking, and best practices.
• Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands and work in an international, English-speaking environment.

Responsibilities

What you'll work on

As a Cloud Engineer, you will focus on building and maintaining modern cloud platforms with a strong emphasis on infrastructure, automation, and scalability.

You will:

• Design and implement secure, scalable GCP cloud infrastructure
• Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform (IaC) / Cloudformation
• Set up and manage landing zones and cloud environments
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Work closely with engineering teams to support cloud-native applications
• Apply software engineering practices (python)

You are a Cloud Engineer who enjoys building scalable, secure cloud platforms and has a strong foundation in both infrastructure and software engineering. You like working hands-on, solving complex problems, and continuously improving systems through automation.

You bring:

You'll work four days per week on real client projects and spend one day per week on structured training, coaching, and innovation. After one year, you'll have the opportunity to join the client organization directly.
