Job summary

Independent Space News has a vacancy for a Galileo System Security Coordinator in Noordwijk, Netherlands. You will oversee end-to-end system security engineering for the Galileo PRS, manage security architectures, and ensure alignment with security accreditation needs and programme objectives.

The role requires a Master’s degree in system engineering (or equivalent) and four years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of security engineering principles and model-based approaches.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in system engineering or related discipline is required with 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with an additional 4 years of relevant experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end design of the Galileo PRS and security functions.
  • Lead system security activities and architecture evolution.
  • Assess deviations, waivers and engineering change proposals for security impact.
  • Maintain compliance matrices and SoCs across system builds.
  • Lead a team of engineers and interface with accreditation teams and stakeholders.
