Job summary

European Space Agency is seeking a Galileo PRS and System Security Coordinator to lead the development roadmap, coordinate security-related studies and procurement, and oversee the interface between PRS technology development and Galileo programme implementation.

You will manage a team of ESA engineers and external contractors, ensure consistent PRS security studies, and engage with EC, EU and Member States working groups to push PRS capabilities forward.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in telecommunications engineering or related discipline required, or a Bachelor’s with four additional years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate PRS development roadmap and technology maturations in PRS, security and cryptography.
• Coordinate studies and development activities aligning with Galileo programme objectives and user requirements.
• Oversee procurement of studies and technology developments in PRS and security, including cryptographic components.
• Interface PRS technology development with Galileo programme implementation; support design, development and validation plans.
• Lead ESA engineers and onsite contractors in PRS engineering activities.
• Ensure consistency of PRS security studies and contribute to baselines.
• Engage with ESA, EC, EU, Member States groups (e.g., WG-Special PRS, CRYPTO) on PRS capabilities.
• Identify emerging technologies and foster collaboration with ESA teams and stakeholders.
