Job summary

Avanade’s European Supply Chain Hub seeks an Agentic D365 SCM Consultant to join our growing team, acting as a functional consultant on D365 SCM projects with a strong focus on AI-enabled supply chain solutions. You will also collaborate closely with Avanade’s global innovation team to develop and adopt agentic AI capabilities across the organization.

The ideal candidate has solid D365 SCM experience and a passion for applying AI technologies to real-world business scenarios, helping clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an AI-related field.
• Experience in core logistical processes such as Sales, Procurement, Trade & logistics, and Inventory Management.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently outside the Netherlands.
• Prior consulting experience preferred.
• Experience with D365 SCM is preferred.
• Production and Master Planning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Incorporate AI technologies in AVA's client solutions.
• Develop functional specifications and business scenarios.
• Oversee requirements translation to delivery and consultants for successful delivery to the end customer.
• Execute test cases and verify results.

Job description

Our European Supply Chain Hub is seeking a talented and innovative Agentic D365 Supply Chain Management Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will act as a functional consultant on D365 SCM implementation projects, with a strong focus on leveraging AI-driven capabilities to enhance business processes and supply chain operations. You will also collaborate closely with AVA’s global innovation team, contributing to the development and adoption of agentic AI solutions across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in D365 SCM and a demonstrated ability to apply AI technologies in real-world business scenarios. Combining functional consulting expertise with a passion for innovation, you will help customers and internal stakeholders unlock new value through intelligent, AI-enabled supply chain solutions.

Responsibilities

• Possess skills to incorporate AI technologies in the solutions that AVA delivers to our clients
• Develop functional specification designs including definition of functional requirements and business scenarios
• Drive the effective transition of requirements to delivery and technical consultants, ensuring a clear and complete understanding of the requirements for a successful delivery to the end customer
• Execute test cases for the developed solution components and verify the results

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in an AI related field
• Experience working in core logistical business processes such as Sales, Procurement, Trade & logistics, and Inventory Management.
• Must be able to manage time, prioritize and communicate commitments
• Must have strong client and internal communication skills with experience working in highly collaborative teams
• Must be able to produce specific examples of work product (functional requirements, design, output, test plans, etc.)
• Motivated to travel frequently outside the Netherlands
• Prior consulting experience preferred
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management is preferred
• Experience in Production and Master Planning is preferred
