Our client is a leading Dutch manufacturer specialising in industrial automation components, with operations across Europe and North America. As part of a multi-phase digital transformation program, they are rolling out Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management across their European entities. The Amsterdam site serves as the central hub for logistics, procurement, and production planning—making this a high-impact development role in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive D365 F&O Developer to support the technical delivery of the client’s ERP transformation. You’ll be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing custom solutions within the D365 F&O platform, working closely with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize solutions in D365 F&O using X++, extensions, and integration frameworks
• Build and maintain integrations with external systems (e.g., WMS, MES, e-invoicing, APIs)
• Participate in technical design sessions and contribute to solution architecture
• Optimize performance across modules including Procurement, Inventory, Warehousing, and Production
• Support data migration, testing, and deployment activities across environments
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to DevOps pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git)
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in live environments, ensuring stability and performance

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 F&O development
• Strong command of X++, data entities, and extension-based development
• Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, OData, Logic Apps)
• Familiarity with manufacturing and supply chain processes
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD practices
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience working in hybrid or on-site client environments preferred
