Crowne Plaza Amsterdam - South zoekt een fulltime F&B allround waiter om gasten warm welkom te heten, bestellingen op te nemen en service te leveren in De Japanner Zuid en andere outlets. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor een vriendelijke gastvrijheid en nauwkeurige service.

Je hebt bij voorkeur ervaring in hospitality en sterke Engelse communicatie, met flexibele beschikbaarheid voor ochtend-, avond- en weekenddiensten. Het hotel biedt reiskostenvergoeding en tal van personeelsvoordelen.

Qualifications

• Ervaring in hospitality of F&B is een voordeel.
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in Engels en bij voorkeur Nederlands.
• Gastvrije en servicegerichte houding.

Responsibilities

• Gasten ontvangen, bestellingen opnemen en gerechten/drankjes serveren met gastvrije service.
• Menu-uitleg geven en wijn-/etenadviezen doen om de gastenervaring te verhogen.
• Zorgen voor opmaak en orde van jouw toegewezen gebied (tafels, buffetten, servicepunten).
• Bestellingen doorgeven aan de keuken en betalingen afhandelen, inclusief room charges.
• Samenwerken met collega's en andere afdelingen voor een vlekkeloze bediening.

Your day to day

As an Fulltime F&B Allround Waiter at Japanner Restaurant, you’ll bring warmth, professionalism, and personality to every guest experience. You’ll work at restaurant De Japanner Zuid – ensuring each guest feels welcome and cared for from the first "hello" to the last "thank you."

Your responsibilities will include

• Welcoming guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages with genuine hospitality
• Providing menu explanations and food or wine recommendations to enhance the guest experience
• Preparing and maintaining the setup of your assigned area – tables, buffets, and service stations
• Transmitting orders to the kitchen accurately and efficiently
• Handling payments and billing, including room charge procedures and cash remittance
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting environment in all outlets
• Supporting events and banquets with setup, service, and breakdown tasks
• Coordinating with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth service
• Following hygiene and safety procedures (HACCP, Fire Life Safety, Green Engage)
• Being attentive to guest needs, always aiming to exceed expectations

What we need from you

• Previous experience in hospitality or F&B service is an advantage
• Strong communication skills in English and preferably Dutch; any additional language is a plus
• A true host – guest‑oriented, service‑minded, and enthusiastic
• Well‑groomed appearance and professional attitude
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Eye for detail and passion for quality
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, festive holidays and weekends
