Job summary

Axiom Recruit is hiring a Full-Stack Software Engineer to build and scale systems powering real financial transactions. You’ll own meaningful technical challenges, influence architecture and take products from early ideas through to production.

The role mixes backend and frontend work in a modern cloud stack. Based in the Netherlands, Amsterdam, you’ll join a VC-funded payments fintech scale-up collaborating across wallets, exchanges and Web3 platforms.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in either payment or crypto or a really strong background in fintechs
• Strong commercial experience with TypeScript, NodeJS and React
• Hands-on cloud experience across AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, security and production reliability.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, payments or regulated financial systems would be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Develop modern frontend experiences with React.
• Own features from initial idea through to production.
• Help shape architecture and key technical decisions.
• Improve cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, testing and system reliability.
• The role is approximately 70% backend and 30% frontend.
