Job summary

Holiday Inn the niu Fender Amsterdam is seeking a Front Office Rockstar to welcome guests and handle inquiries in a friendly, energetic environment. You will work the front desk, check guests in and out, and support reservations while contributing to a memorable stay.

Requirements include a tourism/hospitality degree or relevant experience, English fluency, and a flexible schedule including weekends. Dutch is a plus, and Word/Excel skills are expected.

Your mission? To be the face of our hotel, both in person and on the phone. You'll welcome guests with a smile, answer their questions, and make sure they feel right at home. As a Front Office Rockstar, you'll be the first and last point of contact for our guests, ready to assist with any questions or requests that come your way.

Here's what you'll be jamming on:

• Checking in and out our fabulous (and international) guests.
• Providing information about our hotel facilities, tech gadgets, and local hotspots.
• Keeping the admin stuff in check.
• Taking the stage with room reservations and checking existing bookings.
• Making sure our guests' wishes come true.
• Joining the crew for shift briefings and department pow-wows.

What You Need

• You've either completed a degree in tourism/hospitality or have some experience in a similar role.
• You're cool with a flexible work schedule, which means weekdays and weekends. The early shift starts at 7:00 AM, and the late shift ends at 11:00 PM.
• You're fluent in English, both speaking and writing. Dutch is a plus, knowing a third language is ridiculous :)
• You've got some solid skills in Word and Excel.
