Job summary

Park Plaza Vondelpark Amsterdam offers a Front Office Internship in a boutique hotel setting. You will gain hands-on experience in all Front Office operations while learning hospitality skills in a welcoming, dynamic environment.

The internship starts in September 2026 for 5 or 6 months, with an internship allowance of €550 gross per month (full-time). Eligible students will join a team focused on guest experiences and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a hospitality, hotel management or related study programme.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Support guests throughout their stay, from check-in to check-out
• Deliver a warm and professional welcome to guests from around the world
• Assist with guest enquiries via phone, email and face-to-face communication
• Learn and apply hotel procedures, standards and systems
• Collaborate with departments such as Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Maintenance to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Contribute to maintaining a professional and welcoming Front Office environment

Situated in Amsterdam's Oud‑Zuid district, close to the iconic Vondelpark and excellent public transport links, Park Plaza Vondelpark Amsterdam is a stylish boutique hotel where personalised service and authentic hospitality take centre stage. As a Front Office Intern, you will be the face of the hotel and play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences. You will gain hands‑on experience in all aspects of Front Office operations while developing your professional and hospitality skills in a welcoming and dynamic environment.

Essential Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a hospitality, hotel management or related study programme
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
• Guest‑focused mindset with a positive and professional approach
• Enjoy working as part of a team and adapting to a fast‑paced environment
• Eligible to complete an internship in the Netherlands

Preferred Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an advantage
• Interest in Front Office operations and guest relations
• Familiarity with hotel systems (PMS) is a plus
• Dutch or additional language skills are an advantage
• Eagerness to develop operational knowledge within a hotel environment

The internship allowance is €550 gross per month (full-time), which is above the Horeca CAO BOL guidelines.
