Job summary

Leonardo Hotels in IJmuiden Seaport Beach is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests and provide exceptional service. You will assist with check-in, share local highlights, and handle reservations and guest requests with a smile.

The role is part-time, requiring morning and evening shifts. You will work in a team-oriented environment that values guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and hospitality. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch and English required.
• Experience in hospitality is preferred.
• Customer service orientation and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the point of contact for guests and provide information.
• Assist guests with check-in and recommend local highlights.
• Process room reservations and respond to guests’ requests.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

You are the point of contact for our guests and provide them with all the information they need. You assist guests with check‑in and tell them about the highlights they absolutely shouldn’t miss. Meanwhile, you receive a phone call from a guest who wants to reserve a room for next week. No problem — you take care of that too. You notice the next guests are ready to check out, so you help them right away. You’re genuinely curious about how they experienced their stay with us. You take their luggage so they can enjoy the city a bit longer before they leave. They tell you they’ll be back soon. That’s why you do it!

LEONARDO HOTEL IJMUIDEN SEAPORT BEACH

The Leonardo Hotel IJmuiden Seaport Beach has 146 hotel rooms and suites, including family rooms and luxurious Wellness Suites. Our rooms are bright and spacious, with wood accents and large windows that let in light. Most hotel rooms and suites have a balcony overlooking the Kennemermeer lake or the marina. Our hotel is pet‑friendly. Guests who wish to come with their four‑legged friends are therefore very welcome.

However, they are not permitted in our restaurant and Wellness Suites. If you have been outside all day, you can relax in our gym, sauna and Turkish bath. Those who are environmentally conscious will be pleased to know that the Leonardo Hotel IJmuiden Seaport Beach participates in the Green Key programme. This programme records the hotel's impact on the environment.
