Job summary

NYX Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandt Square zoekt een gastvrije Host die gasten verwelkomt, check-ins en check-outs begeleidt en vragen beantwoordt. Je deelt tips, regelt reserveringen en behandelt telefoons met klantgerichte service.

Deze positie vereist een servicegerichte instelling, flexibiliteit en teamwerk. Ervaring in hospitality is een plus, en een vlotte beheersing van Engels is vereist. De functie is fulltime en op locatie in Amsterdam.

Responsibilities

• U bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor gasten bij in- en uitchecken en vragen.
• U deelt aanbevelingen en maakt reserveringen.
• U behandelt telefoons en reserveringsverzoeken.
• U helpt gasten met luggage en een warm afscheid.
• U ondersteunt de ontbijtdienst en staat in voor de lobby bij nodig.
• U houdt een schone en gastvrije omgeving aan.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING

• You are the first point of contact for guests, assisting with check-ins, check-outs and questions.
• You share recommendations and offer to make reservations.
• You take calls and handle room reservation requests.
• You help guests with luggage and ensure a warm farewell.
• You support the breakfast service and assist in the lobby when needed.
• You maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

WHO ARE YOU

• You always put the guest first.
• You are flexible, energetic and calm in any situation.
• You have experience as a receptionist; F&B experience is a plus.
• You work well independently and in a team.
• You are proactive, responsible and a real go-getter.
• Experience with reservation systems and first aid is an advantage.
• You speak fluent Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.
• At least two years of hospitality experience.
• You can easily travel to work at all times.
