Job summary

STX Group is seeking a (Junior) Business Developer to turn market opportunities into viable commercial initiatives. You will work at the intersection of strategy, market analysis, and deal execution, collaborating with Trading, Operations, Sustainability, Legal and Compliance teams.

You will evaluate opportunities in biofuels, renewable feedstocks, gas and other sustainability markets, translating regulatory insights into actionable plans and supporting projects from concept through

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial, analytical, regulatory, or project-focused role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Curious, proactive, and comfortable in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across functions.
• Interest in energy, sustainability, commodity markets, logistics, trading, or related industries.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities by monitoring market developments, regulations, and industry trends.
• Conduct commercial and regulatory research to uncover opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
• Develop business cases and contribute to the structuring and execution of new commercial initiatives.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to progress projects and opportunities.
• Coordinate with Trading, Operations, Sustainability, Legal, and Compliance teams to bring complex deals and partnerships to life.
