Job summary

Odyssey Hotel Group in Amsterdam is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver warm guest service at the check-in and check-out desk. You’ll manage guest records, payments, and preferences while ensuring brand standards are followed in a fast-paced, international environment.

Proficient in MS Office and Opera systems, you bring hospitality experience and a guest-oriented mindset. The role offers competitive pay and employee benefits within a dynamic hotel group.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and preferably Dutch.
• Affinity with the hotel industry and hospitality experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and Opera systems.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
• Ensuring a smooth check-in/out process for all guests in line with brand standards.
• Maintaining accurate guest records, including personal information, payment details, and preferences.
• Carrying out, reviewing, and updating the reception procedures, as per hotel policy.
• Complying with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
• Handling complaints in a professional manner.

THE POSITION

We’re searching for an enthusiastic Front Office Agent who enjoys working in a fast-paced workplace and an international team. In the hotel, we serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. As well as lunches and dinners for groups, for our staff canteen and we have two meeting rooms on the 1st floor. Our restaurant is located on the ground floor of the hotel and has 60 covers. For our lunch and dinner menu, we work together with local suppliers from Amsterdam Noord.

OUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greeting guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
