We are currently looking for an experienced and hands‑on Interim Freelance Senior Accountant to temporarily join our finance team and provide interim coverage for a colleague who is on long‑term leave. In this role, you will take full ownership of the entire spectrum of accounting activities and play a key role in the periodic and yearly financial closing process. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in an international and dynamic environment.

What you will do

• Take full ownership of day-to-day accounting (A to Z), including purchase and sales invoicing, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Manage payroll accounting, amortizations, depreciations, accruals and other transactional entries.
• Lead periodic and yearly closing processes, ensuring completeness and timeliness.
• Maintain compliance with local VAT regulations and stay updated on legislative changes.
• Coordinate with external partners for VAT and CIT filings, annual accounts, and consolidation tasks.
• Support statutory audit processes and ensure documentation is complete and audit‑ready.
• Provide guidance to team members to safeguard transactional accuracy.
• Work closely with the Controlling team on financial reporting and analytical tasks.
• Manage and execute accounting activities for multiple entities within an international scope.
• Offer expertise and support on complex accounting matters.
