Job summary

Randstad Freelance zoekt een Senior DevSecOps Engineer met AI-expertise om beveiligde softwarelevering te sturen, AI-gedreven beveiliging te verbeteren en DevSecOps-automatisering te realiseren binnen enterprise-omgevingen. De rol richt zich op AI-gestuurde beveiligingscontroles in CI/CD, software supply chain security en veilige adoptie van AI-ontwikkelingsplatforms.

De ideale kandidaat heeft uitgebreide ervaring met GitLab CI/CD, SAST/DAST/SCA en AI-gerelateerde beveiliging.

Qualifications

• Sterke hands-on ervaring met GitLab CI/CD.
• 5+ jaar ervaring in DevOps, Platform Engineering of DevSecOps.
• Ervaring met implementeren van CI/CD-platforms op ondernemingsniveaus.
• Hands-on ervaring met applicatiebeveiliging en kwetsbaarheidsbeheer.
• Ervaring met het integreren van beveiligingscontroles in softwareleveringspijplijnen.

Responsibilities

• Ontwerp en onderhoud veilige CI/CD-pijplijnen.
• Integreer beveiliging, testing en compliance in ontwikkelworkflows.
• Bevorder DevSecOps-best practices en veilige softwarelevering.
• Zorg voor afstemming met normen, regelgeving en auditvereisten.

Your Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevSecOps Engineer with AI expertise to help drive secure software delivery, AI-enabled application security, and DevSecOps automation across enterprise engineering platforms. The role will focus on integrating AI-assisted security controls into CI/CD pipelines, improving software supply chain security, implementing AI-powered code scanning capabilities, and enabling secure adoption of AI development platforms such as GitLab Duo Agentic Platform and related AI engineering capabilities

Key Responsibilities

DevSecOps Engineering

• Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate security, testing, and compliance controls into development workflows.
• Promote DevSecOps best practices and secure software delivery.
• Ensure alignment with organizational standards, regulations, and audit requirements.

AI-Powered Application Security

• Implement AI-assisted code scanning and security review capabilities.
• Evaluate and integrate AI security tools into the SDLC.
• Support secure coding practices and vulnerability identification.
• Define guardrails for AI-enabled software development.

Software Supply Chain Security

• Implement SBOM and software composition analysis practices.
• Strengthen dependency, package, and artifact security.
• Improve vulnerability management and supply chain risk controls.

AI Security & Governance

• Establish controls for secure and compliant use of LLMs and AI tools.
• Support AI governance, monitoring, auditing, and policy enforcement.
• Enable secure AI adoption across engineering teams.

Automation & Platform Engineering

• Automate security, compliance, and remediation processes.
• Drive platform standardization and engineering efficiency.
• Collaborate with Security, Architecture, Risk, and Development teams.

Enablement & Collaboration

• Support platform onboarding, migrations, and adoption initiatives.
• Deliver training and guidance on GitLab, DevOps, and DevSecOps practices.
• Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across teams

Relevant knowledge skills & competences

Experience

• Strong hands on experience with GitLab CI/CD
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or DevSecOps.
• Proven experience implementing CI/CD platforms at enterprise scale.
• Hands-on experience with application security and vulnerability management.
• Experience integrating security controls into software delivery pipelines.
