Job summary

IFF is seeking a proactive intern to join its Global Trends & Foresight team in Hilversum, Netherlands. This full-time, 6-month internship starts December 1, 2026, offering hands-on experience translating societal and consumer trends into fragrance insights.

You will support trend analysis, curate databases, and help develop briefs for multiple teams. Ideal candidates are pursuing relevant degrees and have strong research, presentation, and communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Marketing, Consumer Insights, Trend Forecasting, Sociology, Psychology, Innovation, Design, Communication, Business, or related field.
• Available full-time for a 6-month internship starting December 1st, 2026.
• Strong interest in societal, consumer, lifestyle, and cultural trends.

Responsibilities

• Support the Global Trends & Foresight team in identifying, analyzing, and translating emerging trends into actionable business insights.
• Scan and evaluate trend signals across sources including media, reports, social media, events, and digital communities.
• Maintain internal trend intelligence channels, resources, and knowledge-sharing platforms.
• Assist in curating and maintaining trend databases and insight repositories.
• Contribute to development of trend briefs and foresight content for marketing and innovation teams.
• Conduct background research to validate trends and implications for the fragrance industry.
• Create presentations, reports, and visual content to communicate insights effectively.
• Collaborate on internal and external partnerships and ideation projects.
• Translate trend insights into concepts for fragrance development and storytelling.
