Job summary

Baker Hughes seeks a Frac Engineer to lead field teams, design and deploy fracturing and gravel-pack treatments across diverse environments. You will interact with clients, plan operations, and ensure QA/QC while coordinating with design and lab teams.

This role requires strong data analysis, reporting, and training responsibilities. Travel up to 50% offshore/onshore is expected; you will use GOHFER/FracPro/Stimplan and industry software to optimize completions and deliver value for customers in

Qualifications

• Onshore or field engineering experience in fracturing treatments or related completion operations.
• Ability to manage and test frac, stimulation and other chemicals on location with QAQC.
• Strong communication of technical data in customer-facing contexts.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% offshore and onshore.
• Supervisory skills and ability to train new staff.
• Experience using GOHFER, FracPro and Stimplan.
• Awareness of government regulation for chemical usage in oil and gas.
• Excellent report writing and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate, control and deploy fracturing operations onsite per client plan.
• Collaborate with design stakeholders and adapt deployment of completion tools.
• Track chemicals, rates and pressures; ensure data collection and analysis.
• Collaborate with lab; manage frac chemical testing on location for QC.
• Ensure software readiness and troubleshoot during operation.
• Collect data and provide client support; inform stakeholders of issues.
• Supervise onsite crews; train new frac crew and engineers.
• Prepare daily reports with accurate data for stakeholders.
